Teams get ball out on Rams fast, but it is nothing new
2022 - Rams 1st
2021 - Rams 3rd
SO when a stat like time to throw is thrown out there without context
is offers no light or understanding.
The original question is the assertion that soft cushions hurt
Donald and pass rush.
The evidence is that teams have, under this scheme, gotten the ball
out very fast. And last year, Rams 3rd Donald was dominant
So, what is the difference? I offered a reasonable answer-
Donald had more help last year than this year.
And even so---without a pass rush this year the defense is top 10
With some quality edge rush the defense would be even better
not worse.
I get that people see the cushions and are suspect, but as much
as I would like a SF/NTJ./Fisher type scheme, I cannot have it
and the design of the defense is to limit points,
That's the answer. Points are what matter.
And when they throw out long drives, that happened last year
and it is not happening this year.
Logic matters, not emotion.
My guess is there will be no logic applied to your questions
for the usually suspects,.
