lot of good points.. Letting Woods go just kills me.. I also wonder if: when the Rams failed to trade for any big named stars like McCaffrey or Burns I wonder if mentally it sunk the team as they were used to adding big named talent when they needed it..
Makes perfectly good sense to me, from what I have noticed is the Rams go all in on plan A, see Miller, see Burns, see McCaffrey. And when they swing and miss they seem a bit lost and leave other options to other teams.
When Miller left I instantly wanted Za'Darius Smith. I felt he would give the Rams a bonafide edge rusher opposite Floyd.
But instead they went Arob, now I like Arob, but he has under whelmed in his first half year with the Rams. But my choice was sign Smith, G, and OBJ. Keep Woody.
I really think the Rams go shopping with blinders on, last year they loved Eskridge, he went to Seattle and instead of picking the proper choice of Humphrey they (In my mind) panicked and went with Atwell.
Snead has a downside and that is he gets a little too full of himself and gets too cute. See Wagners draft and he's there for the Rams but Snead thinks he can trade down and loses out on all 3 LBers they liked so they grab Pead who was a bust.
This off-season and draft they need to concentrate on the Oline, get bigger, get stronger and get nastier.
I want IOL that can deliver a punch through a brick wall.
