So, on the one hand, you're not a fan of trading picks for players. But on the other, you're dissatisfied with the players the organization has drafted with the picks that they've had.
Let's assume you listen to all offers for current core players (and TBH, I'm not sure why Kupp wasn't included on your list because he'd have no team around him)...
What is your confidence level that McSnead can select the right players to build a more balanced team?
I mean, before 'eff them picks," wasn't Snead's claim to fame was "outsmarting" everyone else by constantly trading back in the draft?
It's clear to me that mistakes have CLEARLY been made with respect to the OL and team leadership. But you seem to be looking for a tear-down for the sake of tearing down.
I'd argue that if you asked a GM if he could win with a roster that included Aaron Donald, Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Jalen Ramsey they'd tell you hell yes!
The Rams just need to quit outsmarting themselves.
- Solidify the OL
- Hire (or listen to) an OC that can meld a rushing attack with McVay's offense
- Allow said OC to call the plays
- Get an effective RB
These are things that should allow the Rams to get back into contention sooner than relying upon the crapshot of the draft.
