Why not go back in time

when the Rams in the late 40s and early 50s would intentionally play on qb for a half and the other for the 2d half. Waterfield would play the first half and Van Brocklin the 2d half. Theory was that in doing so the defense had to plan twice. Wolford first half and Perez the 2d-or the reverse.
