SB caliber D’s can consistently get good pressure while only rushing 4…

Anybody disagree with that?

It just makes it so much easier for the back 7 to frustrate an O, even an O with a superior QB.

My point? Rams can’t do that this year. They just can’t.

That alone doesn’t bode well for our playoff chances.

Rams have other problems right now, but they’re fixable, especially when starters get healthy and return.

OL players (plural)
Allen Robinson
Jefferson
CB’s (note the plural)
Stafford

But that edge pressure thing? Not sure we have the horses to fix that. Maybe Snead can pull another rabbit out of his hat by trade deadline?

Another concern is Akers. He just doesn’t seem the same as he once was. At any rate, we own a pitiful running game, much less a SB caliber one.

So here we are. A defending SB team with it’s passing and running O in the cellar even though allegedly healthy and a D that can’t get consistent pressure with 4 guys, sometimes with even 5 guys.
