The nanosecond the receiver makes a move and Goff sees it - "He's open!" - Goff releases the ball. By the time the ball arrives the D back has recovered. Not every time, but far too often as a tendency.
Warner's ball arrived when the guy made one step out of his break - the guy would turn and the ball was in fromt of his hands. Stafford is much the same way, especially with Kupp.
I saw one interception throw by Goff on Sunday that was same-old, same-old.
But with plenty of time to throw, Goff looked pretty good overall.
