... I'm worried about Stafford's well-being behind a riddled offensive line with some dirty cheap-shot-coached injury-motivated goons (despitr their raw football amility - I'm thinking Warner specifically, and their DC) coming his way.
Game-wise, beyond that: We'll ned to win the turnover battle and capitalize on those takeaways to win. We'll need to win the TOP stat, or come close - never easy against the 49ers. We'll need an offensive game plan that flawlessly executes a passing attack that cites everyreceiver on the field as the #1 go-to for whom the play is designerd, and keep it going late into te game instead of leaning more heavily toward Kupp as the game progresses. We'll need to convert on third downs with some smashmouth level blocking and execution on running plays. We'll need to see enough pass runsh from somewhere to give our DB's an edge - they can't hold coveraage and degend passes and make interceptions without it.
And that's asking alot.
The game rests more on McVay's offensive gameplan in light of all the injuries than anything; the defense will do well enough if the O performs well enough that they won't fade late in the game.IMO.
