My brother and I hung our heads and my mom said something like "That's okay just let the other guy have it."
Pretty sure he didn't get another target.
On the biggest stage we turned to a 7th round rookie and our 4th string TE because VJ couldn't be trusted to fight for it.
Now, don't get me wrong, he's a solid 3 in this league and could be a 1000 yard guy.
But that's why you can trade him.
That said, seems like everyone is learning contested catch prowess from A Rob and he could very well be a different player.
But ...
The truth is that we're not going to pay him. So he's got this year and next to earn us a comp pick. Which would maybe be a 4th or 5th.
I'm much more curious about what our other recievers can do and if he draws a 3rd I'd take it in a second.
