Nobody ever gives players credit for being core special teamers. And core special teamers who contribute on a base offensive or defense are worth more than a conditional draft pick.
As far as Evans and Brewer they are not even making the team so we'll be lucky to get a conditional 7th for him.
I love how everybody wants the new thing but then when that new thing doesn't work out they go scampering away.
Skowronek plays a different WR position than McCutcheon.
Rozeboom didn't play in the preseason because he is a core special teamer and a pretty good LB. Hummel played well, then trade Hummel.
Additionally you don't go trading players with super bowl experience to be replaced by players who don't have super bowl experience especially when you want to make the super bowl again
