Rams43
Almost an enigma. Rams have one of the best training room staffs in the league and yet here we are with 3 top RB’s restricted.
Are we drafting the wrong body types?
Or running the ‘wrong’ types of schemes?
Will we be forced to acquire another Sony Michel type again through costly trade for a 1 year rental just to remain viable as a running threat? Argh!
Or maybe pick up someone after final cuts?
I think Rams keep drafting a RB every year until further notice. I’m not anticipating a 2nd contract for either Akers or Hendy, either.
RB health has been an ongoing problem seems like forever. What to do? Sigh…
Well said 43! It's been happening to our RB's for too long now.
When the Rams run game has been potent has been when we've had a "Franchise, true #1" type RB and we have had plenty! Dickerson, Faulk, Jackson, Gurley, etc.
Whenever we try the "by committee" approach, this is what we get. Have we ever had a good "RB by committee" rotation that didn't feature a true #1 RB?
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
