Got to love this pick up even though it basically cost us Woods.
Having 2 WR who can block and line up in any position and run any route tree is very important. You have to imagine that Van, Tutu and Higbee and Akers/Henderson will all benefit from the attention the defense will have dedicate on Robinson/Kupp.
I am really pumped about the potential of the offense. Stafford has an extra year, Akers from the Start of the season, Robinson an upgrade over Woods, Van, who will be back healthy, fully established as a legit #3 and the emergence of Tutu as a potential weapon. The OL looks to be good too and the Backup TE's now have experience.
What I really like is how all the piece fit together. It will be interesting to see how they create mismatches and line these guys up in different position on the field. McVay is a genius at scheming guys open and this may be the year he has all the interchangeable pieces to take it to the next level.
