A lot like Josh Allen today... although, not sure Josh's esteem stretches to Tulare? I think it probably does but I'm just not sure. Probably must since he played in Reedley?
I was BIG into Track while in HS, Greg. Bob was as big a sports hero as it gets. Remember a few year's ago when my grandson's football team played in Tulare? During that visit the FIRST person I introduced my grandson's too was Bob Mathias. "Boys, you are in the home of the great Bob Mathias". - JamesJM
