What ever happened to having some character and living up to what was agreed upon, by your word, with a signature. What 135 million is not enough for this greedy SOB, posting pictures of his home and his lavish lifestyle. Let him leave football and try to find a job makin a fraction of that amount of money. I hope the Rams cut ties with his arse, he is now on the down side of his NFL career, anyway. I say F### Aaron Donald!
I definitely smell a hater around here.
Egads, man! Take a look at what you posted here...about a generational HOF player...THAT PLAYS FOR US!!!
Matthew Stafford is entering the final year of the $135M contract he signed with the Lions. Despite his success in the Super Bowl and playoffs, his regular season was marked with several interceptions due to poor judgement or wounded ducks he lofted into the air (see said Super Bowl, Week 18, etc.). Do you think he's on the downside of his career? Rams don't think so. They gave him a 4-year, $160M extension. Are you upset that he didn't play out his original contract?
Cooper Kupp signed his extension 2 years ago and is under contract this year. He's (wildly) outperformed the terms of his extension and EVERYONE KNOWS IT. So, he and the Rams are looking to renegotiate his deal in order to show him some respect in a market that's paying lesser talent more. Are you upset with him? Do you prefer that he play out his contract this year and become a FA in the off-season? Do you think it would it help the Rams' salary cap situation if that were to happened?
"...down side of his NFL career?"Uh...just take a look at his numbers from his past three seasons and compare them to the four before that.
"...threatening to hold out?"Like Albany asked you: Where's the link for that?
Go back to when he signed his first extension. When did he (or his representatives) EVER threatened anything? When has AD (or his representatives) EVER made ANY public comments about his contract?
Why are you getting after AD (and not the others), when all he and the Rams are doing are engaging in private, respectful two-party contract negotiations?
