Look. The Rams are going to pay Donald QB money. He's probably angling for something like a 4 year $160 million deal. He'll get it. If not with the Rams, somewhere else. And I don't believe for a second he'll retire.... except perhaps as a ploy. I don't care who you are; you just don't turn and walk away from money like that.
Do I think the Rams will pay something near that? Yes. He's the Lawrence Taylor of our era. A defensive player that can dictate a game and ruin any plan. As they like to say: he's one of one.
The Rams can't possibly allocate that kind of money to Quinn, considering the enormous raises AD and Kupp are going to get and after adding Wagner. The big bucks signing are over and any attempt to acquire Quinn will involve high round picks to boot.
Might the Rams find $5mil for a cast off vet like Nasib? Yes. There will be vet players cut in a few weeks. Rams will be patient. The Rams will be top of the list for those players and their agents for 1 year show-me deals.
