I agree that McVay trusts Wolford.
But... you can bet that if Perkins skills translate to the field this pre-season, if he surpasses Wolford, Perkins will get the nod.
Hopefully we will get to see both perform unlike last season, however, it appears that Coaches trust experience and although Wolford does not have much, he did play a full game at the NFL level and won that game, albeit, more of a defensive effort. Not only must Perkins surpass him, but the coaching staff must have trust in him, if called upon and that hopefully does not happen, but always seems to factor into decisions with backup QB's.
