He runs a good wheel route: That's for sure.
Henderson (career stats) prove he's not been durable over his 3 seasons as a professional. He's shown more than a few flashes in the run game, and he runs a great wheel rout (good hands) like you mentioned alyo.
2019 13 games, 39 Attempts, YDS 147, AVG 3.8, Long 22, TD 0, Receptions 4, YDS 37, AVG 9.2, TD 0,
2020 15 games, 138 Attempts, YDS 624, AVG 4.5, Long 40, TD 5, Receptions 16, YDS 159, AVG 9.9, TD 1
2021 12 games, 149 Attempts, YDS 688, AVG 4.6, Long 29, TD 5, Receptions 29, YDS 176, AVG 6.1, TD 3
Henderson's
yards per carry over the last 2 seasons is 4.5
Henderson's
yards per catch for his career is 7.6.
His pass protection isn't too shabby either.
I appreciate Henderson, and the Rams are lucky to have him in the final year of his contract.
The chatter that Henderson might fall down the depth chart because of the addition of Notre Dame rookie RB Kyren Williams (5th round draft pick #164) is merely an educated guess based on his college film.
Again, Henderson is in his contract year and he's very likely to compete on a different level with all things involved.
Henderson is in the prime of his NFL career, and he knows if he shines in 2022 and stays healthy, he's going to get a decent pay day in 2023.
Kyren Williams is going to have to explode onto the scene to snatch away Henderson's snap counts.
