It might be the "Stafford Effect" too

May 19, 2022 02:01PM
Those passes he put on Kupp late in all those big games required elite level manipulation of DBs in space. Kupp has always been a difference maker in this offense, but after adding Stafford he went to a new level.

As it pertains to Robinson when he's the first read he's going to be open a lot. Certainly due to his own skill and that of Kupp. But in the crunch time it'll also be due to Stafford's ability to redirect DBs with his eyes and open space.

Rams offense was really good last year but not elite until they added OBJ. He made them almost unstoppable. Robinson should have a similar effect and I can't wait to see how good Stafford might get in year two with better weapons. And from there if that run game can get going oh boy.
