RAMbler
....is simply a 3D aspect which I personally agree with. But after 2 years I still don't see 3D..., I see a neutered/broken attempt at modernization. It's funny, I had thought that the biggest issue was going to be how they worked out the 'no sleeve' shoulder on the new jerseys. Never would have thought that they'd screw up arguably the best most iconic helmet in all of sports.
Will always love my Rams.... but IMO, Demoff is a double edged sword... Jeckle/Hyde if you will....
You took the words right out of my mouth RAMbler.
Demoff can fix his mistake by fixing the helmet horn. Is he man enough to do it? Would he be willing to admit the Neutering of the horn was a mistake? I am not sure. I think his ego would get in the way.
I know some here think we should just "let it go" just because "they" are alright with the uni's.
I disagree. Maybe if enough of us speak up and speak loudly enough and often enough, Demoff and the Rams will get the hint and do something about it.
Staying quiet, ignoring or accepting things you disagree with is for the weak and timid. Freedom of Speech is a right for a reason. We wouldn't be America without it.
I am happy for those that like the new uni. Good for them....I don't like them...in case anyone wasn't sure how I feel.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
