We should get to see them play a ton in the Preseason so it should be fun to watch.
I know McVay has this odd "man crush" on The Wolf for some reason but what if "The Perkolator" gets cooking and out plays The Wolf?
Would McVay make the switch?
The Wolf didn't have to "compete" for his job last preseason but could get "out-shined" this year if Perkins plays well.
Would McVay "limit" The Wolf's playing time or not play him at all to avoid a backup QB controversy?
I hope McVay lets them "battle it out" fairly during the preseason by playing them both equally.
IMO, The Wolf needs to show "something" to justify his role as the #2 QB instead of it being "gifted" to him. I also think Perkins earned a chance based on last year to legit compete for QB2.
Honestly if either guy has to start for more than a game or 2 we could be in trouble and for that reason alone I would go with the guy with the higher ceiling and more potential...Perkins.
Has either guy gotten better since last year? My money is on Perkins if he can pick up from where he left off last year.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
