Every team should have two days each with two different teams (4 days total) of this type of thing every year. It's more valuable work for the teams top to bottom. More reps, more situations, more match ups, etc. and you can put relative limits on contact as needed (i.e. QBs off limits). Frankly I'm not sure why the preseason games fans watch aren't in part these joint practices.
