I'm not even sure that Akers will beat out Hendu as the #1. I see this as a close TC battle. They will get Williams snaps on 3rd and longs as a blocker.
Once again, I should point out that although Hendu does get banged up, it's Akers who tore the Achilles and coming off a career threatening injury. All our backs got hurt. Michel who joined us during the season was the only healthy guy.
I like the kid. He certainly could help us if anyone gets hurt. Funk, and Calais were also hurt.
