.....that Tutu will need to do some things to IMPROVE himself and his game. More bulk and muscle, more speed, better hands, better football awareness. The WR room is just too good this year. If he can do those things, maybe he has a chance.
While McSnead can do wonders in the draft, they aren't invincible.
It might be easier just to replace Tutu rather than try and make into something he is not. If he needs to improve all those things, why did we even bother picking him? Maybe we should've drafted a WR that already had those qualities instead of Tutu?
Bulk and muscle? He already said he doesn't really want to do that.
More speed? Not sure he can get much faster at this point.
Better hands? Hands can be improved with a ton of hard work.
Better football awareness? Not sure what that means.
That's a lot to improve on and would take some time to do it. His biggest weakness IMO is not being able to stay healthy and I am not sure he can improve on that.
As for the "room is too good" part, I agree and if we resign OBJ, it gets even deeper. That doesn't leave much time for Tutu to get on the field and it's hard to get better if you aren't playing.
IMO, his roster spot could be better used by a player who might actually contribute something to the team.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
