Didn't work out well at all. It wouldn't have been so depressing had we won the Superbowl!!! Oh, wait.....we did!!! Seriously, did YOU really expect him to play a lot with Kupp, Woods, Jefferson and DJax on the roster? As Tom Jackson used to say on ESPN...."Come on Man!!!"
Lol, no, I didn't expect Tutu to play very much and thankfully we didn't NEED him for us to win the SB. It's good thing too because if we had to depend on Tutu we wouldn't have won anything because he was hurt all year and couldn't play even if we needed him.
The BEST ability is AVAILABILITY and last year Tutu's only availability was for the rehab he went through.
What I DID expect from Tutu was a "flash"...a "spark" or a "glimpse" of ANY kind of reason to think he would be a good player and that didn't happen. In fact, it was the opposite that happened.
He looked slower than advertised.
He was too fragile.
His hands only seemed average to me.
His route running seemed average to me.
He couldn't even stand out against scrubs in the preseason after being given every chance possible. Surely we should have seen something from him, shouldn't we? If you can't excel against "scrubs"...you sure as heck can't excel against the big boys.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
