One for the ages, my friend
You know there are those moments etched
The losing to the 9ers
Beating the 9ers
The dropped pass by Cooks (your photo, ugh)
Bruce running free on the Warner throw
Yes, the cure to the pain, IS THE PAIN
A'Shawn
Gaines
Blanton, Hopkins
Most of all, it's the journey
I couldn't agree more that as the kickoff gets closer you wish time to slow.
The Trailhead of Redemption
I think it's the pass to Kupp in the 9er game, and his exultation after that catch that most encapsulates the season for me
There are so many plays during the Bowl game itself that loom so large
Hopkins first downs
Akers 8 yards on the 2nd and 2 (even coach in the heat of the moment right after the game ended remarked on that being so enormous)
Kupp's 4 and 1 jet sweep. (admit I couldn't watch, and listened on radio only there) BTW a very edgy call by Coach, too
But beating the 9ers was overwhelming for me.
The 29 yarder to OBJ. That creep with the helmet to helmet.
The ankle breaker by Kupp, and instant recognition by Stafford to nail Coop with the ball there.
Yea......I'll be celebrating for a long while to come
BTW, I've rewatched these games again and again. Including the Tampa match.
Overcoming adversity when it most matters.
Be at your best when your best is required
An exceptional post, George
Congratulations
