The closer they got the colder the breeze got! At least for me. I was above your right shoulder, at the VERY top seat, right at the goal line. Man!!! As I read your post, describing Tampa's comeback, I swear I could feel that chill. I went from sorta rubbing my hands to trembling cold when Tampa tied it. I wanted my 1973-99 road jersey to be seen but with about 2 min left, I HAD to put on my blue Gator jacket. Even that was not enough. I was still cold! I swear....As I watched the pass sailing to Kupp, I was so chilled, scared and freaked at the same time, I TRIED to yell "COOP!! COOP!! COOP!!" as the ball was in the air (FOREEEEEEEVER!) but all I could get out was a...... "Co....Co...Co.. WHAAAAAYAAAAA....OH MY GOD!!!!!!" I had 7-8 seats to myself on my row. I had the URGE to pace but could not move a INCH as I waited for the FG to go through! When it did??? I felt NUMB!! So OFF came the jacket. Had to use it as a spinner! LOL I did get chilled again but there was NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO way I was covering my #11 as a walked / floated back to my car. The drive home was tiring but awesome! 4 hours of grinning and listening to the Chiefs / Bills game. I will NEVER EVER forget that night!!
BY THE WAY....The photo you posted of Kupp's catch....I bought a 8X10 copy. Gonna frame that sucker and it will hang by my, on order, Super Bowl plaque!
I'm smiling again!
