The reality doesn't line up with your perception.
The Rams ran it 30 times against Tampa Bay. Yards gained on those 30 plays (in the order they occurred in the game):
0, 1, 4, 9, 2, 0, -3, 1, 2, 3, 7, 0, 5, 2, -3, 2, 0, 1, 0, 3, 15*, 3, 8, -3, 1, 4, 4, -1, 3, 3
*The 15 yard run was the Jefferson jet sweep
And the Rams ran it 29 times against SF in the NFCCG. Yards gained on those 29 plays (in the order they occurred in the game):
3, 14, 0, 0, 8, 4, 4, 3, 6, 14*, -3, 1, 1, 9, 2, 5, 2, -2, 0, 0, 2, 0, 0, 3, 1, -1
*Stafford's 14 yard scramble
I was talking consecutive runs which means he runs on first down and then runs again on second down. Those are just the times we ran the ball with no plays for passes in between correct. He does do it sometimes but he tends to run then pass the next down. He does not like to run two run plays back to back. He may do it sometimes but he definitely thinks a successful run is good time to break out a pass.
