Years ago, I live across the street from Zack Bronson, then a safety for the 49ers.
One Saturday, I opened the door, cranked up the sound system, and replayed - over and over - the portion of the first niner game from the 99 season, specifically the part where Warner hit Jeff Robinson for a TD (giving the Rams a 28-10 lead in the second quarter) and the announcer intoned :”If the 49ers thought they were playing the same old sorry Rams, the Rams have disabused them of that notion.”
My wife walked into the living room and said, “You better knock that off before he comes over here and kicks your a**.”
