Been to HUNDREDS of games at stadiums and Sports Bars and have come close to blows only once.......The 1994 game at Tampa. Just ONE fan acted like they had won a Playoff game. The game SUCKED. Tampa won 24 to 14 but it was VERY sloppy for both teams and both teams were nowhere near the Playoffs in that December game. Anyway...We were walking back to the car, stopped at an intersection with a few other Bucs fans. One started in. I just ignored him. He was OBVIOUSLY looking to start something.....with a Tampa Cop / Crossing Guard RIGHT by us. I ignored it all TILL.....He poked his finger on my Girlfriends shoulder (She had on a Rams jersey, though she hardly cared about football) I quickly grabbed his finger, bent it back and thought for a mili second on snapping it or busting his beak. BUUUUT......The Cop chimes in to ME.... "HEY! YOU BETTER SETTLE DOWN!" I took a REAL deep breath because I did not want to go to jail. That same fan was close to us for another block but nothing was said. I was still so pissed my ears felt plugged.

THAT was the ONLY time I have had trouble outside of some trash talk that might get sorta elevated. I was just amazed at how worked up that Bucs fan was over an absolute CRAP FEST of a game.
