My guess is that Kroenke directed McSnead to do EVERYTHING possible to secure a Super Bowl win THIS YEAR at Sofi. Marketing bonanza.
Since they work for Kroenke, they did exactly that, burning all available draft/Cap resources for additional star talent for THIS YEAR.

That meant taking risks re depth/injuries, and the Football Fates were not cooperative.
Now things look bleak, with ZERO remaining depth as noted, and both Beckham and Stafford appearing more than a little hurt.
If Kupp, Henderson, Michell, any of the OL, DWill, or god forbid AD or Jalen get hurt, the Rams will be lucky to win 2 more games.

What a disaster.

McVay is not handling it well either, IMO.
