Supposedly McVay is a great admirer of Bill Belichick. Belichick doesn't stockpile his roster with stars. He gets guys who are decent to good... and MAKES them good enough together to get the job done... consistently.... and they BECOME great in the process. I'm just surprised that McVay doesn't incorporate more "Belichick" in the way he builds a roster or in his coaching style. Belichick's players all seem to be truly "plug and play".
