The next 2 games matter a lot. The game with the Titans matters for overall record and the hope of homefield advantage in the playoffs.
The Niners' game matters a lot because it is in-division and almost counts like 2 games.
So, what's the thinking? Do the Rams win them both? One? Go into the bye with 2 consecutive losses?
While I fully understand the "any given Sunday" reality, the Rams are the better team in those 2 games. Better at pretty much every skill position. At least as good Oline and Dline. So barring some injury or fluky stuff like in the Lions game with 2 successful fake punts and a successful early onside kick, there is no reason for the Rams not to go into the bye week at 9-1.
The Titans without Henry are not the same team by a far cry. Henry WAS the offense. Just like when Gurley was at his peak, the Rams' offense ran through him, so it is the same with Henry and the Titans. Their run game reduces to ordinary at best, and their passing game was only ordinary to begin with. The Rams by scheme are going to erase one of their 2 WR weapons. So unless the Titan's D plays a heroic game, and the Rams O stumbles, just as Las Vegas odds makers do, I see it as a fairly comfortable win.
The Niners' game ought to be one the entire Rams' team emotionally gears up for. You can bet it'll be big for McVay. I see a win here for the Rams as well.
So my answer is that the Rams will win both games.
