The 49 er's envisioned a Colin Kaepernik effect, Trey is not that guy. Colin had a hand cannon for an arm and he was almost always the fastest guy on the field. Trey is a bulldozer and his running does not scare people, big lumbering QB's are hard to bring down in college not the NFL. They are already talking on the NFL Network that Lynch will most likely lose his job, that is how I came up that Trey was a bust.
