But... the Rams would need to go get that starting Safety because clearly they don't think that guy is on their roster.
They need a guy opposite Fuller. I have wanted them to give Hughes a shot there but they don't seem to think he's got what it takes so yeah a trade there looks possible. 7 games in they know that neither Rapp nor Scott (who was hit and miss in this past game) are gonna get it done there and they have real threats like Arizona and Dallas they're gonna need to go through in the playoffs. That doesn't happen with Rapp or Scott playing Cover 4 as a safety.
Re: ILB I would like to see a Jones and Rapp pairing. They could probably play a lot more downs together than Reeder/Young did. Question is how would they hold up vs a real strong running team.
