The team almost always has a hard time with teams they should roll over. Either it's an unnecessarily close game, or they lose. See Jets last year. This should not have been a close game. The team frequently comes out with less intensity than their opponent. Just think of what might have been if the Rams came out and played with the intensity that the Lions were showing. I say that's on the coaches. Starting with the head coach. McVay also seems to get out coached in these types of games. A win is a win..... I guess. But today was like lipstick on a pig.
