I left after the Henderson wheel TD ...
Can't blame you......
Donald's blowing up of a Booker run play ...
that was extraordinary
Need to say it
McVay called a great game. Right down to approving the Hekker pass to Ben.
I'm happy for Kenny Young
Happy for him, too. He's noticeable out there.
Stafford
I've have an issue with him always trying to take the big bite out of the apple. It stung against the Cardinals. Early? Sure. Take the chomp, and go deep. Going into the tunnel at the half? I'd like to keep the ball and get points. Taking the under guy who is open is allowable and liable to get huge results when established you can rip it long.
I can still see in my mind Van Jefferson, Henderson, and Higbee all being wide open at the markers for "move the chains"plays and Stafford is missing down field and were punting.
Guess I've had worse problems, but.......
Why is Desean on the field in this game?
Kind of agree. I think Sean is keeping him involved, and likes to stress test the defenses, too.
Interesting that we have not used the end around now for a couple games, but feint that look. Expect to see that used soon.
Mundt injury? Funk?
Both tough losses.
Again, D Henderson gets tired after 4 runs. He needs to be subbed every long drive. Tired leads to lazy cuts ... and that leads to dings ...
Yeah, DH definitely waved to the bench to rotate out after a nice set of runs. Almost like he looked over to bench, with a......"have a proved myself enough today? Can I be done?"
College
Glad you mentioned the OLs.
I have noted some serious value in some guards. I'm always hesitant to declare true gems, but some of these guys have great short area work, and then have showed that they love to get downfield and mix up there, too. Everyone is getting bigger, faster........
Spencer Rattler
NOT a fan. Haven't been. You mentioned in a favorable way. Been keeping an eye, he's regressed. I don't think they'd stop him from leaving Norman. Don't see as high draft value, either.
