Well for what it's worth....

there was commotion when we let Fowler go, Floyd was to be a big drop off. My point being making assumptions now mean squat., determining players reactions to stepping up really can't be decided especially when you haven't seen them in action yet.

not so sure we dropped much with the loss of Cam, the RB room is still TBD.....DH had the same yards as Cam did and more TD's on the ground.....it's just that Cam had his roll going late and was ONLY presumed to continue that road.... I can see why, but really it was all supposition going in to 2021.

we seem to lose DB's every year and so far we seem to replenish the position decently...lost some of that backfield coaching tho and don't know how much that had on the play of the guys.

losing JJ is maybe our biggest loss IMO we have people who can play in his spot but IMO not so sure they can DO everything he had on his plate....some guys have that innate thing that makes those around just do more, bring more...JJ was that type.

IMO losing Gerald is not really a loss.....if you only LOOK at his potential I can see someone seeing a drop off, but his on field play to me doesn't look like we lost anything much.

calling a drop off on the line is a bit premature as well....IMO the key is going to be what our new O-Line coach offers up-he's filling some big shoes with zero Pro experience (dealing with college vs. pro mentalities)....all the guys have played together. Corbett moved over a spot, but it's the spot that most thought was the weak link..I can't say we dropped down because I really thought that Blythe was just a guy we had at center because we had nothing else at that time. Right now I can't say that Corbett is a drop off, he's replacing a guy I wanted gone anyway. You can't say that Whit being a year older is a drop off solely because he's older by a year.

I’ve got some major disagreements with DaSilva here…

I agree with everything you said except

  Special teams got better, too
