To me it seemed CJ made the TG3 situation worse. While McSneed were doing everything they could to placate their sour franchise running back, by flooding the air with no comments and Todd is just fine responses. CJ let it slip that Todd's knee was waaaay worse than all the other Rams were letting on. Hindsight it was obvious but at the time the Rams were trying to win a Super Bowl and CJ's loose lips didn't help the situation at all. It didn't help the situation at all at the time and it is obvious by them not even attempting to bring him back it wasn't appreciated. It was more PR hell than it was on field related, because while CJ was never near peak Todd he was good enough that year to get us to the promised land. There is no way to know if the Todd divorce could have ended better sans CJ's comments but it no doubt didn't help the situation.
