Unless you make your case that anyone below the level of a star is a scrub.....I can't see players like we have who are solid workman like players (every team needs that) and have winning teams for years in a row being help up solely by a few stars. A team made up of mostly scrubs with a sprinkle of stars is not going to go anywhere, and those stars would want out of town asap.
To me a scrub is a guy who can't make it on a team save for the team has nothing else to offer. Those teams always seem to pick high in a draft.
I just don't see your view, but that's your view. They may not seem to have much depth, but that to me doesn't point to them being scrubs....Sometimes what seems to be shallow in depth suddenly becomes a deep group when they get real play time. Did you think that Williams was a scrub when he 1st came on to us...what about Corbitt.....maybe SJD as well....how about when we lost Fowler and Lloyd came on.....
IMO a scrub is a guy who has little to give when given the chance...the key there is when given the chance....so far it looks pretty much across the board when a RAM gets the chance they come through....that's why we have 4 winning seasons in a row and counting. Big Whit goes out...we didn't go into a spiral.....Lost Goff, didn't go into a spiral....IMO scrubs=losses....we did OK last year and really since Sean and company came in.
