The 2 areas of improvement that McVay felt that the Rams needed at QB were outlined a number of times by some on this board and some local sportswriters: Seeing the field and understanding what is being seen, and leadership.
Stafford is simply a whole other level better at both. Some of it is his years of playing ball, some of it is inherent talent, and some of it is that there are guys just have that Alpha dog aura that others gravitate towards.
That's what McVay wanted, and obviously he knew that before he managed to get the change. Now that Stafford is here, McVay is on cloud nine because with this QB running this offense, there is nothing that can't be run that McVay wants to be run.
McVay's excitement makes me excited.
