McVay is really high on Long, FWIW. He said tonight that he expects Long has elevated his outside game, though noted that he still can flex inside. Says Long has taken to the teaching progression and believes the team will count on him to be a “big time contributor” in 2021.

Haven’t watched him a ton yet through the spring but CB David Long’s quick, intentional movements and feet in these drills are standing out this evening.
