It seems long ago, but Snead said that Harris was drafted because he was the best STs player in the entire draft. Who knows where this kid might wind up in a couple of years? But with a ceiling like his, it is sure worth the chance and the effort to develop him. But when he seems to show up every day on the practice field (which is where it MUST begin for every rookie), and is regularly singled out by local media for simply standing out from the crowd, one wonders if the Rams haven't struck gold again in the middle rounds of the draft.
