remember long was drafted to fit wades scheme which as i understand it used mostly man to man concepts. this is what long did at michigan. when staley took over they moved to more zone concepts. im not saying he cant play zone but it may not be a match for his skills set OR it may be a little more of learning curve. personally id be surprised if they cut him.
