I see the guard candidates as being Evans, Anchrum, and Brewer. Brewer also backs up ROT. If Jackson even makes the team, I don't think he's in line for any action in 2021.
I agree on the amount of action he gets. But the discussion was, does he make the team. As far as where he fits, tackle or guard, who knows? Brewer is 6'6" 320 and that seems like OT material to me. The reviews on Jackson seem to think he'll fit better at G.
I see some types as being interchangeable at guard or ROT. I assume they have a best 5 policy so if Brewer can play guard (which I am pretty sure he can) I don't see them keeping him on the bench if he's their best ROG just because he is labelled as a strict ROT.
I don't think Jackson is a left OT so he falls into the OG/ROT territory, like Edwards and Brewer.
But to me it's kind of moot because I am not so sure he even makes the team. There's something missing with this guy. That's just one guy's view of course.
