The guy hasn't played football in, what, 6 or 7 years? And how many years did he compete at TE in the NFL? That's right - zero. It does a disservice to actual, freakishly talented TE's in the NFL to think that because he's in awesome shape (like the big hurt with Nugenix?) and ran over people in college more than a decade ago he can just come in and make magic. This is a Kahn (Khan?) ploy to sell tickets, nothing more.
Also, like Big Game 81 - count me skeptical on the Jaguars bandwagon. They have been drafting high for years and years and what has it got them? One year of success with the awesome Blake Bortles - then they got rid of all their talent ( I don't consider Blake part of their talent). A fish rots from the head - this is a terribly run organization - last year is was Gardner Minshew and Nick Foles. Lawrence may be great, or he may be a bust - time will tell.
And as far as their coach - maybe he can turn them around, but pointing to his experience turning around college programs doesn't fly, He's never coached a down in the NFL and very few coaches have successfully made that leap from college only experience to NFL success. Jimmy Johnson, who else?
