I get the concern about the OLB opposite Floyd, but only to an extent.
The Rams were 2nd in the league in sacks last year with 53 (three behind Pittsburgh).
From their league-leading defense they only lost Ebukam's 31 tackles and 4.5 sacks from their OLB corps. Everyone else is back.
Is is unreasonable to expect one of these guys to step up this year to fill in the gap?
At OLB, Hollins, Obo, and Lewis combined for 6 sacks in 2020. Can this group get 12 this year? I bet they can.
And that same group combined for 45 tackles. I bet they can double that, too.
Ebukam was already being phased out. Just going by memory here but I think the production at WOLB increased later in the year once Hollins, Lewis, and Obo started taking Ebukam's snaps. So I agree, a full year of those 3 in rotation could easily mean 12 sacks.
