It's because they liked Brewer and Anchrum etc that they CHOOSE to not select oline rather then these guys must step up because they IGNORED the oline. The 1 exception to that is lt. Addressing that spot will be a challenge imo.

The issues are LOT and center, for 2022.

That has nothing to do with Anchrum or Brewer.

I mean I know there's a temptation to say no matter what they did it's good and smart and is the best thing and no criticism is valid, etc.

And Anchrum and Brewer do have promise, that's clear. I've been big on both of them for a long time and I'm not alone.

But their promise is either at guard or ROT. The future issues are at center and LOT.

Agreed, zn.

Rams are playing chess with their OL options. And playing it pretty darned well, I might add.

Clearly, they like their options at OC. I mean, they seem to have 4 options there.

Edwards could start at either OG and probably at RT, if necessary.

I see at least 5 candidates for starting OG already on this roster and Evans is the least attractive to me, tbh.

They have a minimum of 4 candidates to start at RT.

The above shouts great quality depth, doesn’t it?

So, as you say, LOT for ‘22 and beyond is the elephant in the room. Rams know this better than we do and will pursue all options until they find a solution.

It’s far too early for any predictions but that hasn’t stopped me before, so here goes...

Corbett will be extended whether at OG or OC, depending. I predict that he will have earned it.

Big Whit will retire and Rams must choose one of extending Boom (assuming his run blocking has improved sufficiently), an expensive FA, or a premium draft pick. Pick one. It would have been nice if Rams had added a quality LOT in this draft so that they could have a year to develop and assess, but they went in other directions. Sigh...
