Despite everyone’s love of the draft, which always creates high expectations, having lots of draft capital hasn’t always resulted in success; Cleveland’s futility comes to mind, but the Rams have been right with them historically. I seem to remember the Rams before McVay having early round picks year after year, lots of draft capital and it resulting in nada. One in the hand seems to be worth two in the draft for the current administration. The Rams have holes to fill around some very good talent on this team. Solid at least average players not necessarily great ones will make the Rams contenders. They have done a respectable job filling holes without first round picks. This strategy makes the Rams draft so exciting. I can’t wait to see what happens today, probably a trade down!!
