Uh...I'll pass. Looks like an advertising logo. The kind you would see in front of the Diner with the diner name, a grocery store logo, a billboard or most likely what influenced them...a marquee.
A "marquee" design for a Hollywood team? Makes sense to me. lol
This whole rebrand is too much about incorporating L.A. and Cali into everything. The waves, the sun, the color of the Cali sand, etc. At this point, just drop the "Rams" part from the name and just call them the Cali's or just L.A. or something! IMO, the rebrand is more about emphasizing the location than the identity of the team which is RAMS.
No matter what city they play in, they are the Rams first and location second! With a team as rich in tradition as our Rams, that's how it should be!

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
