I am amazed at just how fast teams assemble for offseason workouts, and figure out how their returning players fit into the upcoming year.
They take that info, and apply into their draft, as well.
Yes, of course, they've already done their work on assembling their draft boards, but who they've got punched in as starters after free agency appears to be a quick review of the current roster as they come back to the shop.
And there's always this nugget.
Some player shows up in terrific football shape. They've honed their bodies, and worked with specialists, and surprise staff.
Worse, are the guys who show up nonchalant, unprepared, no review of playbook, added fat, and just show up dull.
That's gotta be tough as a GM and Coach to see.
