Re: Oldnotdead on Carberry and Rams OL...

I was wondering about that as well...

Kromer has always received tons of accolades for his development of lines.

Carberry works with college kids so theoretically he should be more focused on the fundamentals. How much time does McVay need to teach Carberry the Shanahan offense?

Stanford has been on the long decline under Shaw from the Harbaugh days. They were a power team with a lot of success. Shaw did pretty well to keep the program going after Harbaugh left for the 49ers for a few years. Since then, a long slow decline with their last full season finishing 4-8 with Carberry as the coach.

Why do we think this guys is the next Staley? Meaning Philips was good but -> Staley was better. Now Kromer was good but Carberry?
